Chilao with Bob
Bob and I headed up to the Chilao trail to ride up to Mt. Hillyer and then come cruising down through the Horse Flats boulders. I rode this trail about 5 years ago and I couldn’t ride everything. I was pretty psyched to be able to ride it all this time. The boulders are always cool to see, but I can’t say I was excited about climbing them. Oh well, I’ll get psyched again sometime.
Here’s a snowplant we saw at the top. I love the bright red of this plants.

Bob decided to check out a little finger crack in his trainers.

Bob crusing down a little rocky section. Of course, it’s harder than the picture makes it look.

I rolled through the boulders too.
There was also some steep loose sandy sections. Bob made them look easy.

This trail is really fun. I would love to go back and explore some of the other stuff in the area. Hopefully soon.

First of all, it looks like someone stole the shocks off your guys’ bikes. Secondly, get him out of the fucking water.

Shocks? We don’t need no stinkin’ shocks.
Secondly, he is the Zissou.
Good seeing you this weekend. Hope we can do it again in a month or so.
